Nicki MinajNicki Minaj was denied entry to her own album release party.

The "Moment For Life" singer is reportedly very unhappy after police prevented her from celebrating the release of her new album Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded The Re-Up with her entourage at New York hotspot Greenhouse Nightclub last night because the club was already full to capacity.

"Nicki turned up to the club with about 25 people at 3:30 in the morning. She wanted to celebrate with her fans, but she was denied entry at the door by the police because they said the venue was at capacity and there was nothing they could do to accommodate her," a source said.

According to insiders Nicki, 29, was scheduled to make an appearance alongside rappers and music producers Flo Rida and Fabolous but arrived at the event too late. "Nicki wasn't happy about it, so she and her group just left," an eyewitness said.

RihannaRihanna has apologized to the 150 fans and journalists on her disastrous 777 tour.

The "Diamonds" hitmaker - who has been relying on a mixture of cough syrup and lozenges to keep her going during the whirlwind promotional trip for her new album Unapologetic that ends in New York tonight after which she will have done seven concerts in seven cities in seven days - has admitted she struggled during the tour and it was impossible to spend time with everyone but insisted she has no regrets.

Media members on the tour have been complaining all week about the poor conditions including a lack of food, sleep and extremely limited access to the singer for interviews. An Australian journalist streaked through the plane in protest, while others made up songs about the poor conditions.

According to USMagazine.com, the 24-year-old addressed the crowd at the back of their private plane this morning saying, "Guess what, we made it! This has been an experience that I will never ever forget. I barely slept. My sleeping was all done on this plane, I want to thank everyone for making this trip the sh**. I want to see the naked Australian! I was glad I did this, absolutely. Tonight is the night everything we did this week goes off. I know you guys got barely any dirt. But I had to be good. I still sound like sh**. It's impossible to spend time with everybody, and I'm sorry I didn't. But this was excellent and I would definitely do it again."

Justin Bieber at the American Music AwardsJustin Bieber won three prizes at last night's American Music Awards.

The 18-year-old singer - who was accompanied to the bash by his mother Pattie Mallette - was the big winner at the ceremony, taking home pop/rock male artist, pop/rock album for Believe and the evening's final accolade, the coveted artist of the year award.

Accepting pop/rock male artist, he said, "I want to say this is for all the haters who thought I was just here for one or two years. I feel like I'm going to be here for a very long time."

For his third win, Justin brought his mother on stage with him and told her, "I wanted to thank you for always believing in me... This is my mom. She's little, but she's beautiful."

The Believe star also performed twice at the ceremony, duetting with Nicki Minaj on their track "Beauty and a Beat" and a stripped-back solo acoustic performance of "As Long As You Love Me."

BjorkBjork will only let certain people cover her songs.

The "Mutual Core" singer chooses artists she thinks will do a fresh take on her tracks to record their own versions.

"I'm in a protected situation. I've already done my version the way I want it to be. I ask people I already like, it's not like I'm asking just anybody. I sometimes compare it to jazz standards. You hear two different versions of 'My Funny Valentine' by Billie Holiday and Miles Davis and neither of them are correct. I like the remix platform. There are invisible rules but a lot of freedom."

R.E.M. enlisted the help of Hollywood's resident Renaissance man James Franco to helm their latest music video for "Blue," off of their upcoming (and final) album Collapse into Now. Seen above, the video is a non-narrative ode to Hollywood - both its beautiful and dark sides - which features Lindsay Lohan, fashion photographer Terry Richardson, and Franco himself in drag.

In addition to "Blue," lead singer Michael Stipe has asked a selection of filmmakers to each produce a music video for a track off of the upcoming album.

Christina AguileraChristina Aguilera's bullies have inspired her biggest hits.

The "Your Body" singer - who has regularly been criticized for her curvier figure recently - admitted she is impacted by the negativity but channels her feelings into her music. In an emotional interview with Dateline NBC, the 31-year-old star said, "I have definitely experienced forms of bullying, and that's why it's so important for me to write songs like 'Beautiful' and 'Fighter.' On this current record, Lotus is all about being an unbreakable flower that survives the test of time. Throughout the roughest of surroundings and harshest weather conditions it remains strong and thrives."

The provocative singer also opened up about her relationship with her four-year-old son Max and insisted she is doing everything she can to give him a better childhood than her own. Christina became visibly emotional when asked about her bond with Max during the interview and her desire to have him grow up feeling safe and secure. "He is my heart he is my world, he's just my baby. I am definitely accomplishing that goal thus far. No matter what, I know he is in an environment that makes him very safe," the 31 year-old Voice mentor said.

Kurt CobainA documentary about Kurt Cobain is being made.

The late Nirvana star's wife, Courtney Love, has approached filmmaker Brett Morgan about the project, which has reportedly been in the works since 2007. Brett told The New York Post, "Courtney is the one that brought me into this. We've been trying to find the right time to put this film together and the time is now."

Brett - who directed a recent film about The Rolling Stones, Crossfire Hurricane - also explained how the movie will not be a straight documentary about the singer and guitarist, who committed suicide in 1994, but made in an "autobiographical" way. "Kurt was not only an amazing songwriter and musician, he was an incredible artist and filmmaker. So we are going to do the movie sort of like a third-person autobiography - as if Kurt was around and making a film about his life," he added.

Velvet RevolverDuff McKagan wants to get Velvet Revolver back together. The bass player and singer now fronts new band Loaded, but is hopeful he will reunite with legendary guitarist Slash, drummer Matt Sorum and guitarist Dave Kushner for a third album with the supergroup.

When asked if Velvet Revolver would continue - despite parting ways with vocalist Scott Weiland in 2008 - he said, "I hope so because it's a damn good band. Slash and I are family. He will be my brother until the day I die and I want to play with him again and we will."

Duff, Slash and Matt were also at one time members of Guns N' Roses, before forming Velvet Revolver in 2002. They have released two albums to date, Contraband in 2004 and Libertad in 2007. After Scott's departure, the group launched a search for another singer, but although there were many people in the frame including Myles Kennedy, Sebastian Bach and Slipknot singer Corey Taylor, they ultimately decided to go on hiatus instead.
